Counting sheep is in the past. If you didn’t notice before why the Perntal calls itself a retreat, you will discover it at bedtime. It is truly silent and peaceful here. And it is so dark that you could count the stars if you wanted to. A few forest noises, a quiet moo here and there. The rest is silence. And the good vino does the rest. Our five holiday apartments are impressive in daylight too. Plenty of space, plenty of freedom, and a little of what to us is beautiful.
